One Properties in Edmonton, Alberta was working with a prospective tenant for one of their many commercial properties. In order to finalize the lease, the tenant required the ability to access the warehouse with equipment, but there was no existing ground level access. The building had a 14’ dock door that was perfectly suited, but there was no time to pull permits and construct a permanent ramp. Together with One Properties, Nation Ramps designed a ground to dock ramp that met all of their demands to win the contract. Once the contract was awarded the ramp needed to be designed, manufactured, delivered and installed before the end of the current month.
The solution was a Nation Ramps 10-foot wide ground to dock ramp, combined with industrial handrails to support pedestrian traffic. Having worked with commercial building owners and construction companies, we understood the required deliverables.
Prior to beginning the manufacturing process, our engineering team produced drawings for discussion and approval. Once One Properties and the tenant were satisfied and signed off on the design, we engineered, manufactured, delivered and installed the heavy duty ramp in their Edmonton location before the end of the month.

Alpa Pre-Engineered sought Nation Ramps when they noticed their existing ramp was in need of repair; being faced with the decision to repair the existing ramp or purchase a new one. THE PORTABLE SOLUTION FOR HOSPITAL LOADING AREA
Hensel Phelps is a nationwide company providing home & commercial construction and renovation services. Hensel Phelps was contracted for renovations at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The project included renovations of the critical hospital loading area. For the duration of the renovations they were required to set up temporary loading dock facilities in an adjacent parking lot. Due to a hospital being an essential service, requiring 24/7 operation, safety was a concern. Hensel Phelps approached Nation Ramps for a solution that could be safely and quickly installed on-site. Due to the weight and size of our ramps as well as the lack of on-site equipment, Hensel Phelps also required our crane off-load and placement service.
Nation Ramps was able to provide a rental to Hensel Phelps for the duration of their project. CASE STUDY: NATION RAMPS CREATES A SOLUTION FOR AGRISOL EQUIPMENT
Recently Nation Ramps had the pleasure of working with Agrisol Equipment, who came to Nation Ramps an immediate challenge of unloading equipment from containers.
Agrisol Equipment’s facility had no loading dock to unload equipment from containers. Agrisol Equipment was also looking for a mobile option, that’s when Nation Ramps stepped in.
Agrisol decided to expand their range of equipment and this meant that they were now ordering product shipped from overseas via container. Their facility was never designed to receive and off-load 20’ and 40’ containers. Depending on the size of container and the equipment received, they also needed the ability to quickly reposition their portable loading ramp.
The Nation Ramps solution was a new MYR20K-34×96-50A, mobile yard ramp. Agrisol required the ramp to be delivered within a short window, prior to the first container arriving. Our factory team quickly responded and put the unit into priority production, understanding our clients needs and responding to deliver the ideal solution within the tight time frame.
The MYR20K can easily handle most standard vehicle loading and unloading requirements. With easy setup and positioning, you have a portable loading dock anywhere you need it. Engineered to exceed capacity levels, Agrisol wanted a solution that could quickly be moved around their dealership as needed and handle the large variety of equipment they sell. The Nation Ramps MYR20K-34×96-50A was the answer. Our completely mobile portable loading dock with 20,000 lb weight capacity, 8’ wide ramp and flexibility to adjust height from 41” to 60”.
This ramp is designed to be versatile enough to meet their continually changing use, but also provide ability to easily reposition anywhere with quick hookup to a tractor or pickup. Nation Ramps recently had the pleasure of working with Ocean Trailer to find a ramp solution for immediate delivery. The Nation Ramp Team met with the people at Ocean Trailer to go over all product details and shipping needs.

Ocean Trailer came to Nation Ramps with the issue of having to load tractor trailers without a functional Loading Dock Door. Nation Ramp’s analyzed their specific requirements and came up with the following solution:

We had the required solution in stock and shipped the ramp for immediate delivery to Ocean Trailer’s yard in Winnipeg, MB. Within days our Ramp & Platform solution was in place and solving their tractor trailer loading problem.
A week after installation we followed up with Ocean Trailer to determine how our product was performing for them. Their yard manager was excited about the time he was saving each day. What previously took hours, involved three employees and a pallet jack; now only required minutes, one employee and a forklift to load a reefer. A small capital investment in our portable ramp and platform solution saved Ocean Trailer in wages and time; making their team more efficient and ensuring their customers receive the best service.
